Hammerspark Hold (2019 - 2020)
A year has passed since the ultimate defeat of Klet`isenel, the Spirit of Hate, in the Burning Lands. Yet, in the aftermath of that ancient evil's death, a bizarre phenomenon that originated from Zoda has left many across the world in a constant state of uncertainty. Worse still, those oft turned to for insight into such cosmic events remain at large.
To address the increasingly widespread havoc being caused by what have come to be called "timespace roars", the Immaculate of the Flamebringer -- allegedly at the behest of a divine vision inspired by Kaal himself -- has made arrangements with the Kaal`Kor of Hammerspark Hold to have an expeditionary team to be sent there, privileged with access to the dwarves' splendid services and shelter, using it as a base of operations to investigate these mysterious happenings. At the same time, eerily intelligent Drakes and Wyverns have been reported across the frozen plateaus of Zodasia, and the Giants are being stirred into action by forces unknown.

A testament to Kaal`Kor life and craftsmanship, the Inn, owned by Belra Hammerheart, is beautiful in its simplicity and homey design. The height of dwarven stone working prowess is evident here, with the slabs of rust-brown travertine seamless in their setting and arrangement.

As one descends into the mountain containing Hammerspark Hold, the first thing that meets the eye is the dull glimmer of a crystalline substance that coats the inner pseudo-ceiling of the mountain. The nature of the substance is a mystery, as the Kaal’Kor forbid its examination by outsiders. While there are three levels to the hold only the first two, the foreigner’s quarters and the craftsman's atelier, are immediately apparent.

Due to the location of the Hammerspark Hearth Inn and Tavern much of the local fare is earthy and warm. Tucked into the icy landscape of the mountains the Kaal'kor like hot food, rich stews, and filling dishes full of ingredients scavenged from the subterranean surroundings.
