Luisellia (Current Chronicle)
Luisellia & Am-Xitha NPCs - By K. Johnson v.1 2022
Race: Half-Shei
Class: Minister
Age: 430
Despite being half shei Meritha’s dark hair has faded to gray and her hands show the wear of years as well as the time of those years. At 430 years old, though, she remains active and vital. Though she uses a cane when moving about it does not appear that she leans on it overly much, using it mostly for nudging people out of the way or drawing things closer to herself when they’re out of reach.
Meritha’s normal tone and expression are likely to make people speaking to her think they’ve interrupted her in the middle of something very important. She is not hesitant to turn sharp green eyes on anyone who deigns to interrupt her. Normally the woman dresses in black or shades of gray, comfortable long dresses or loose blouses with garden-soiled pants. Normally Meritha can be found in the garden, the house’s altar room, or the kitchen. Her primary pass-times are working to tend to the vegetables in the backyard, worship, or cooking for the household.
With how often she is there it is clear that the kitchen was outfitted purely for her comfort and appreciation. Any food coming out of the kitchen of ‘Mama Meritha’ as the locals call her, is a work of culinary genius.
Race: Half-Shei
Class: Minister
Age: 430
With the same years as Meritha, Maiwen Rainier’s fair blond hair has remained blonde through the years and only touched by enough white to cause it to look golden. She is as active and a great deal more vibrant than Meritha, however, smiling much more frequently and speaking in a whisperish, girlish voice.
Frequently found in the sitting room, Maiwen spends time during the day trying to lure Meritha to the chess board for a game, mending or making clothing or other cloth crafts, and reading. While she does spend a lot of her time outside it is spent reading in the garden with a wide-brimmed sun hat or parasol to protect her from the sunlight. She spends more time watching Meritha tend the garden than actually doing it herself.
People who visit the two women come to call on Maiwen most often as she has a deft hand at curatives and potions and between the two women is by far the most pleasant to speak to. She’s called Mama Mai (May) by locals and can always be called on to tend to someone ill, watch the young children of the town, or confide in as she’s known for her sage advice. Time moves slowly by Mama Mai, and she watches it pass with grace and a cheerful smile.
Race: Voraath
Class: Shaman
Age:
325
A monument of a man, Gozog is heavily built and embodies the sense of 'bull in a china shop' as he moves about the library. Despite his mass and his heavily built Voraath featuers, Gozog's concern lies in the wellfare of the people under his charge. He speaks of them fondly and it doesn't take long to realise that he has taken to heart the guardianship of his books. To him they are people and as people they need to be protected.
Gods help the person who keeps a book longer than they should...
Addai Ewan
Race: Xalayi
Class: Druid/Guardian
Age: 450
Delicate and slender like all Xalayi, Addai lives only within the confines of the garden. Though the 'Garden' is a misrepresentation of what the space actually is. Addai lives in the lake that falls in the center of the space, even the lake is a misrepresntation of what the water actually is. For one like Addai who can dive as far as she needs it is ideal. So, the Xalayi lives in her space beneath the water and spends the rest of her time working in the garden.
Along with her delicately and fragile beauty the woman has light blue green skin that has veins of gold all over it and blue green hair which is so fine it floats even when there is no breeze. Her eyes are deep blue rimmed with gold around the irises with white pupils. As her normal clothing, she wears a skirt that is open at the hips, covering front and back. It hangs from her hips from a belt of gold that mirrors the gold filigree about the top of her head. The woman's chest is covered by the same blue cloth and gold detailing and her feet are always bare, it is likely she does not own shoes.
Addai is very skitish, like a wild anmal, and if approached roughly the woman will dash into the nearest copse of trees and be gone or dive into the water and vanish within. It is best to sit and wait for Addai to come and find you and if she's allowed to approach on her own terms, she will be much better pleased and it is much less likely that she will run away.
Race: Half-Shei (Northlander)
Class: Guardian/Marauder
Age:
Dragos Djuradj communicates more in grunts than actual words. But that is not the impression most people around him have. Dragos is, among the tennants of the building he inhabits, one of the loudest and most drunken men to grace the surface of the Kingdom of Vyss. He can be found in his flat yelling at seemingly nothing or near the door of it shouting at people to 'get off my grass' and 'quit eyeballing me'!
Dragos does not often leave his home or the space around the door but when he does he can be found in the bar with the man who runs it, pouring alcohol down his throat at an unhealthy rate. He has caused and continues to cause a great number of barroom brawls where he will defend himself with any piece of furniture he can take to hand.
Though fierce and wild eyed, the man's ferocity has been noted as going from violent to savage when a threat is posed to the bartender of The Indignant Worm. The man grows almost savage when the life or honour of his brother is on the line and only the bartender can calm him when he is in that state.
Race: Half-Shei (Northlander)
Class: Guardian/Marauder
Age:
Kesler Daniels is by all accounts a large, fierce-looking man. Distinguishably half-wild elf due to faint points on his ears and sharp-looking eyes, he defies the norm by standing at an imposing 6'7, with gleaming auburn eyes. His hair is a mixture of salt and pepper, though these days it's primarily salt; cut short and close to his head in a military style.
While he's gotten on in years, his stature is still extremely muscular; and anyone who's ever had the displeasure of being forcibly removed from the bar will attest to the fact that it's not for show. He's relatively taciturn, willing to listen to customers' problems and provide a sympathetic ear.
His patience, however, is extremely limited on two matters: causing trouble in the bar, and insulting his Brother. While Kesler will make plenty of jabs at his disheveled appearance or being a layabout, anyone else who presumes to do the same will be on the receiving end of an earful from the man. He also has a pet, a large kavah named Lati, who is most often seen curling up by the fire. While she's normally even-tempered and seemingly well-trained like her master, her growling and fangs have provided additional incentive to avoid stirring the pot inside of the bar proper.
