Basic Guide to Connecting to IRC

IRC Cloud

1. Either log on to IRC Cloud.com or search the app store on your phone for the app.
2. If logging on for the first time you will need to register using your Email address, Name, and a password.
3. Once registered, you should come to a screen asking you to enter the Server and your contact information.
• Hostname: irc.darkmyst.org
• Port: 6667
(this should be default)
• Nickname: Whatever name you want to use as your 'Handle'.
• Real Name: This will show up in your join line.
• Channels To Join: If you like, you can add the In Character and Out of Character channels here for easy joining. See the Image below.
4. Once you finish entering your information, click Join.
5. If you don't enter the Channels To Join, at this point you can enter /join #imarel_ooc and /join #imarel in the message bar.
