A large conifer found through northern Albadosia and southern Tamayr Shiryu, the Juper tree has pale softwood and white bark marked with slashes of pale orange. Though not particularly good for firewood, due to its thick, deep crimson sap, this quality makes it highly prized for making dyes and pigments. When the wood is burned, however, it releases a great deal of dark, acrid smoke that causes severe respiratory distress if inhaled.
